Brian Hatfield
Tournament Angler
Fishing isn't something I picked up. It's something I was born into.
I grew up fishing alongside my grandfathers and uncles. They taught me more than how to catch fish. They showed me that being on the water could give you two things at once: peace for the soul and fire for the competitor.
Years later, after countless hours on the water and competing in tournaments, I'm still chasing both. There's nothing quite like the quiet of an early morning on the lake—or the rush of knowing that one more cast could change everything.
Today, I run a Bass Cat Puma with a 250-hp Mercury, and two LiTime 36V 50Ah batteries support my trolling motor system. When I'm competing, I want to focus on finding fish, making the right decisions, and giving every tournament my best.
The boats have changed, the competition has grown, but the feeling that first drew me to the water has never left.
And I don't think it ever will.
